This video follows Elizabeth as she captures a family of six in an open field at golden hour.

Every photographer I know dreams of nailing the perfect golden hour light in a wide open field. However, I quickly learned early on that just because the light and the field are beautiful, doesn't mean that you as a photographer will be able to capture the warm dreamy field look.

This video covers late afternoon light, shooting backlit, sunspots, using trees to navigate bright light, secondary light and camera settings.

This shoot also covers how to photograph larger families and work with young kids with short attention spans.

I try to capture families as they are, candidly and naturally and will share with you all of the prompts I used to achieve candid lifestyle fun images of young kids.
